British Gymnastics' GymMark Scheme recognises the value and commitment made by its clubs in developing high quality and welcoming environments for its participants. The scheme asks clubs to look at the whole of its structures, including coaching and training, management, health and safety, and child protection issues.
The level of the coach will be appropriate for the class and the coach to gymnast ratio will be as per the British Gymnastics' recommendation
The club has Appropriate and comprehensive insurance cover is available
The club has Policies and procedures exist in case of accidents, complaints etc...
All coaches, new staff and volunteers for regulated positions have an approved British Gymnastics Criminal Records Bureau disclosure
The club has a code of ethics and conduct for coaches, judges, volunteers, parents and gymnasts
The club is actively involved in development
The club actively recognises its volunteers
The club is quality assured and Nationally recognised with a high standard of delivery
All coaches are qualified coaches/trained staff
